I had the privilege of photographing the beautiful Miss Taylor’s high school graduation portraits. She came up to Nashville wanting her portraits done in front of a particular waterfall (Greeter Falls) unfortunately that plan had to be scrapped because parts of the trail system were inaccessible during her short visit. Having done no other research for portrait locations it was some very quick planning to come up with suitable locations for her portraits. Two days and three separate locations in Middle Tennessee, Taylor was poked and prodded and photographed endlessly. The resulting images showcased her fun personality and required very little post processing. I did play around with some heavy filters on several images, something I normally stay away from, but given their current popularity I gave it a shot and really like the results.
